Jennifer Blakeman

Jennifer loves to teach and is especially passionate about establishing solid foundational music skills for students of all ages. For over 20 years, she has been making and teaching music. She earned a Bachelors in Music Education from Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio and has completed additional coursework at VanderCook College in Chicago. She holds certificates in the Orff-Schulwerk method Levels 1 and 2 and is active in the Northwest Ohio Orff-Schulwerk Association. Jennifer has studied a variety of instruments: piano, organ, tuba, trombone, flute, percussion, and voice. Specializing in developing musical skills in beginner and intermediates students of all ages is her goal when teaching group lessons and private students. In addition to Orff, Jennifer finds Dalcroz Eurythmics essential to the music learning process. Jennifer teaches at Black Swamp Fine Arts School, The Montessori School of Bowling Green. She enjoys life at her little country haven with her husband, Nate, and their 3 children.
